Field Trip to GTCL's (Gas Transmission Company Limited) Gas Manifold Station at Ashugonj

SPE student chapter, BUET arranged a successful field trip to GTCL's Gas Manifold Station at ashugonj on 19th July, 2008. about 25 students attended the trip.Dr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Head of the dept, PMRE accompanied the students. The daylong trip was divided into two segments. in the first segment GTCL executives gave a demonstration of their transmission and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system through a nice presentation. then the students went to visit the manifold station. the presentation and site visits were very enlighting and hospitality was excellent. student chapter thanks everyone involved in the program.
