An orientation program was arranged for the fresh students of level 1/Term
I. Head of the department and other faculty members interacted with the
students in a cordial atmosphere. The students were introduced to their
study program and the facilities available in the department.

8th International Conference of Mechanical Engineering has been anounced to
be held from 26-28 December, 2009 at BUET. This biannual event (ICME2009) have been organised by the department since 1995. Mechanical engineers from the country and all over the world are asked to participate this conference and submit their research papers...
