Website Making Competition at IAC, Dept. CSE, BUET
A website making competition will be held at IAC, Dept. of CSE, BUET on Friday, 6th August 2010 on the theme: Korea – Bangladesh Friendship. The competition will be organized jointly by Korea Internet Volunteers (KIV) and IAC. Competition is open for individual Bangladeshi students and participants of any IAC courses.
Instruction for Submission
- Prepare static website on the above theme.
- Complete the registration form and upload all source files (maximum 10MB) within a single ZIP file using the link http://www.buet.ac.bd/cse/iac/application/competition.php.
- Among all the submissions, maximum 40 participants will be selected for attending the final competition.
- Last date of submission is Friday, 30th July 2010.
- Result of seleted participants for final competition will be published on 3rd August 2010 in IAC website and IAC notice board at BUET.
Final Competition, Exhibition and Award
During competition, a participant shall have to add additional features and pages within the website submitted by him/her. The features and pages will be declared at the beginning of the competition. There will be an open exhibition after the competition. All participants must present his/her website in the exhibition. Top five will be awarded after judgment.
The judgment will be done in three steps:
- On submitted website before final competition
- Addition of features and pages during competition and
- By a panel of Judges during exhibition.
Registration
Only selected participants shall have to register to participate in the final competition.
Venue: IAC, Dept. of CSE, Ground Floor, West Palashi, BUET, Dhaka 1000.
Registration Fee: Tk. 300.00 (Three hundred) only per participant.
Date and time: Friday, 6th August 2010 at 8:00AM – 9:00AM.
